Dizzywood Mission – Hawksbill Trivia

September 20, 2008

The second mission for this weekend is Hawksbill Trivia. You need to do the Find Admiral Hawksbill mission first. When you get this mission you will see a trivia chest in Presto’s Edge. The answer to the trivia question is “a fierce storm.” When you answer the question you get an old secret map. Click on it and it shows a big X.

Dizzywood Mission – Collect Herbs and Roots

September 15, 2008

Hi ppl. There are new missions now on Dizzywood and many of them are very simple. I will write some guides on each one as I do them. The first one is Collect Herbs and Roots.

Collect Herbs and Roots

Dizzywood-collect-herbs-and-roots.png

OK for this mission you want to collect four kinds of herbs and roots. They are Butterfaux Root, Fracas Leaf, Mirthwood Bark and Whisperweed Stem. The Butterfaux Root and Fracas Leaf are in Presto’s Edge. The Mirthwood Bark and Whisperweed Stem are in Farthing’s Meadow.

All you need to do is walk over them to pick them up. You need to pick up five of each to get a bushel and get one of them in your backpack. When you get one of each in your backpack, the mission is done!

When you finish you get 300 coins. It says you can do it once per day but I was able to repeat this over and over again as many times as I wanted.

Elder Vein Mines – Dizzywood Wiki – a Wikia wiki

September 7, 2008

I just got into the Elder Vein Mines today. I got the mining helmet with the light on it and that was what I needed to go inside. It’s very confusing in there and I got lost a few times but there is a guide on the Wiki that helps a little.

There are some really cool critters in there!

The Elder Vein Mines were introduced to Dizzywood on July 22, 2008 after months of anticipation.

They are accessed by clicking on the boarded up Dangerous Mineshaft inside The Crystal Catacombs. You must first have assembled a Mining Helmet which acts as the light source to allow you inside.

The names of the mines are similar because one part of the name is a letter from the Greek alphabet and the other part is a vegetable.

Once inside the Elder Vein Mines, you need to find your way through a series of mines which are connected by doors. When you click on a door you have to play a game of Jumper and by completing the level successfully, you can proceed to the next mine.

In the Jumper levels make sure you collect all Blue Elixir ampules, because they are used to unlock the final door to the Omega Beet Mine.

There are seven mines inside the Elder Vein Mines. The names are:

* Delta Carrot Mine (the first piece of Corrupt Crystal Dampener can be found here)

* Theta Potato Mine (the Double Snake critter can be found here)

* Alpha Radish Mine

* Gamma Yam Mine (the second piece of Corrupt Crystal Dampener can be found here)

* Omicron Turnip Mine (the third piece of Corrupt Crystal Dampener can be found here)

* Omega Beet Mine (the Battyfox, Bull Beastie, TwinklePig and Flutterbird critters can be found here)

* Tau Parsnip Mine (not open yet)

Onakasi Treasure Room – Dizzywood Wiki – a Wikia wiki

September 6, 2008

Have you seen the Onakasi Treasure Room yet? It is in Tanglevine Jungle and if you go in there you can get really cool outfits and stuff. If you see people walking around Dizzywood wearing really wild outfits that have jewels and stuff on them that’s where they got them probably. Here is what the Dizzywood Wiki says about it.

The Onakasi Treasure Room is a new room in Dizzywood. It is located across the river in the Tanglevine Jungle where the Onakasi Ruins are. It is an idol with bright green glowing eyes at the edge of the Onakasi Ruins.

Wave your mouse over it (do not click it) and a secret stairway will open. You will have two games to play, Jumper and Blocks.

Dizzywood Explorers Journal: Nursery Showroom Open

September 6, 2008

Here’s what the Dizzywood Explorer’s Journal says about the new nursery showroom!

Hope you are all exploring, and enjoying all the new features in Dizzywood! Brooke recently started giving tours to the new Skyland Home, and she has now opened her new Nursery Showroom. You can now shop around for lovely rose bushes, trees, or quaint patio furniture. Perhaps a birdbath might be a good addition if you’ve purchased the new Skyland Home, or a large Wildwood Tree to give you shade as you sit and enjoy the company of your fellow Explorers.

To get there, you’ll want to go make your way to the Home Emporium by clicking on the teleporter in Presto’s Grove, or by clicking on the button from the “Home” tab in your backpack. Once you enter, look for the elevator. When you’ve entered the elevator you’ll see the button that will take you up to the Nursery Showroom.

*You may want to put on your shades while you shop the Nursery Showroom, it’s always sunny up there!

The mysterious box

September 6, 2008

The mysterious box in Presto's Grove

The mysterious box in Presto

There is a very strange box in Presto’s grove. It is right next to Presto and the bulletin board. But if you click on it all it says is that except for a little straw in the corner, this box is empty. That is sooooooo strange! Has anyone found anything in the box?????
